STAR - Sports Therapy And Rehabilitation

To: All American Legion Players and Coaches
From: STAR – Sports Therapy And Rehabilitation

STAR Sports Therapy And Rehabilitation is pleased to announce our new working relationship with American Legion Baseball.

STAR has unique experience in treating elite athletes such as the players of American Legion Baseball. Our distinctive physical therapy clinic centrally located Downtown allows unprecedented services for baseball players, such as the ability to throw off a pitching mound, video-graphic analysis of throwing mechanics, and computerized testing for rotator cuff strength. We have Board Certified Sports Physical Therapists at both our North and Downtown locations that have extensive experience working with athletes so we understand how important it is for you to get back in the game quickly – and safely.

For the 2005 Season

American Legion players are able to access STAR Sports Therapy And Rehabilitations services free of charge for an injury screening. We ask that you call the number on the brochure for either the North or Downtown location and tell us you need to come in. We will see you the same day for a consultation, which may include home instructions, exercises, and recommendations on return to play.

If the injury appears to require a physician evaluation, or if physical therapy is necessary beyond the initial consultation, we can assist with getting you to your physician promptly or help you find a physician or specialist who can see you in a timely manner.

Other Benefits

After the 2005 Season, STAR will work with American Legion Baseball to host events such as Throwing Clinics, Coaches Clinics, and Performance Improvement Workshops, as well as further advance sports medicine services. More information on these events and services will be forthcoming.

At STAR, We Treat You Like a PRO!
